CORROSHIELD POLYURETHANE FINISH PAINT 3350 is a two component glossy polyurethane finish coating, which has a excellent performance of solvent – resistance and chemical – resistance. This material also can give excellent durability in any climate and keep both good gloss and colour on it in outdoor condition.

Intended uses

CORROSHIELD POLYURETHANE FINISH PAINT 3350 is mainly used for topcoat, together with CORROSHIELD epoxy paints compatibly. It is suitable for the anti-corrosion of kinds of steel structures in both moderately and severely corrosive environment including offshore structures, ships, chemical plants, super storage tanks, tankers for rail way and bridges.

Maximum service temperature is up to 120 ℃ in dry condition.

Surface Preparation

For the surface primed with CORROSHIELD epoxy paint, should always be following the overcoating intervals specified. For those surface to be coated for more than the maximum overcoating interval, overcoating test on small area should be done to check if its adhesive strength is in good condition or not. As for good adhesion, to perform overcoating at once, otherwise must make the surface coarse prior to spraying. All surface to be coated should be cleaned and free from contamination such as grease, inorganic salt, duct and so on.

Application Precautions

1. Prior to application, this material should be thoroughly agitating for free of deposition occurred during storage.

2. This material is supplied in two components (part A and part B) as a unit. Always mix a complete unit in the proportions specified. Once the unit has been mixed it must be used within the working pot life specified.

3. While pausing, do not allow material to remain in hoses, gun and spray equipment. Thoroughly flush all equipment with CORROSHIELD X001, thereby to prevent from plugging by cured material.

4. Surface temperature must always be a minimum of 3 ℃ above dew point. Consequently keep away from condensation which will be affected to the anti-corrosive performance of coatings.

5. As CORROSHIELD HIGH BUILD EPOXY PAINT 2290 contains the V.O.C. solvent, in confined spaces must provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.

Shelf Life: 12 months minimum at 25 ℃ .
