Product Description

S04-20 POLYURETHANE ENAMEL is a two component glossy polyurethane finish coating, which has a excellent performance of bright colour, fleshy gloss, tough abrasion-resistance, heat-resistance and water-resistance, as well as good decoration and protection performance.

Intended uses

Mainly used for coating the high-class furniture, electrical apparatus meter, medical appliance, machinery and machine tool.

Service Temperature

Maximum service temperature is up to 120 ℃ in dry condition.

Colour: wide range

Gloss level: high gloss

Dry (25 ℃ ): Touch dry ≤ 3 h, Hard dry ≤ 24 h

Hardness: ≥ 0.5

Water-resistance: No bubble within 60 h. Slight change of film is permissible, may revert in 2 h.

Application Details

Application Method: Air spray, brush, dip; The best paint application method is spraying.

Mix Ratio: Part A : Part B = 1 : 1 ( Actual mix ratio see also production package)

Surface Preparation

1. All metallic surface to be coated for the first time should be cleaned and free from contamination such as grease, inorganic salt, duct and so on. May perform the distinguish and treatment in accordance with the standard ISO8504-1:1992.

2. Any surface with old paint should be cleaned and free from contamination such as grease., dust and water. And then be partially repaired. May perform the distinguish and treatment in accordance with the standard ISO8504-1:1992

3. Areas of breakdown, damage etc., should be prepared to the specified standard (e.g. Sa2-1/2 --- ISO8501-1:1988).

4. Before application of this topcoat, the surface to be coated should have existed primer, both alkyd primer or epoxy primer can be utilized.

Application Precautions

1. Prior to application, this material should be thoroughly agitating and filtering for free of pigment deposition occurred during storage.

2. This material is supplied in two components (part A and part B) as a unit. Always mix a complete unit in the proportions specified. Once the unit has been mixed it must be used within the working pot life specified.

3. While pausing, thoroughly flush all equipment with thinner, thereby to prevent from plugging by cured material.

4. All surface to be coated should be clean and dry. Surface temperature must always be a minimum of 3 ℃ above dew point. Consequently keep away from condensation which will be affected to the film adhesion performance, glossy and colour of coatings.

5. As this product contains the V.O.C. solvent, in confined spaces must provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.

Storage

Storage Condition: Store in dry, shaded condition away from shining and heat source.

Shelf Life: At 25 ℃ part B 12 months minimum and part A 6 months minimum. As to those paint, which is over than shelf life but is inspected well just then, is permitted to be still in the use.
