Product Description

H06-2 EPOXY ESTER PRIMER is is made up of epoxy acid esterfied with botanic oil, ferric oxide red, zinc yellow anti-corrosive pigment, constitutional pigment by abrading and adding auxiliary agent and organic solvent. This product is airing anti-corrosive primer, which film has hard durability and good adhesion. Typical product: H06-2 IRON RED, ZINC YELLOW EPOXY ESTER PRIMER.

Intended uses

IRON RED EPOXY ESTER PRIMER is suitable for coating black metal surface, and ZINC YELLOW EPOXY ESTER PRIMER for light metal. Suitable for priming metal materials in the coast area and humid tropic zone, compatible with the topcoats, e.g. alkyd, amino, polyurethane, nitrocellulose, acrylic etc.

Service Temperature

Maximum service temperature is up to 120 ℃ in dry condition.

Application Details

Application Method: Airless spray, Air spray, brush, roller.

Surface Preparation

1. All metallic surface to be coated for the first time should be cleaned and free from contamination such as grease, inorganic salt, duct and so on. May perform the distinguish and treatment in accordance with the standard ISO8504-1:1992.

2. Any surface with old paint should be cleaned and free from contamination such as grease., dust and water. And then be partially repaired. May perform the distinguish and treatment in accordance with the standard ISO8504-1:1992

3. Areas of breakdown, damage etc., should be prepared to the specified standard (e.g. Sa2-1/2 --- ISO8501-1:1988).

Application Precautions

1. Prior to application, this material should be thoroughly agitating and adjusting to appropriate adhesion by thinner.

2. In case of thicker film, overcoating time for time is necessary, 20 microns dry ( 30 microns wet ) each time. Before overcoating, the former layer should be thoroughly dry.

3. A little thinner might be covering on the surface of residual paint.

4. No fire and good ventilation in application site.

Storage

Storage Condition: Store in dry, shaded condition away from shining and heat source.

Shelf Life: 12 months minimum at 25 ℃ . As to those paint, which is over than shelf life but is inspected well just then, is permitted to be still in the use.
